Pygmy seahorse
The pygmy seahorse (Hippocampus bargibanti) is not exceeding 2.4cm in size. It is found in the gorgonian coral Muricella paraplectana, generally in deep water (20m+) and in current prone areas. Its small size, cryptic body shape, coloration and skin texture blending perfectly with the host soft coral make it extremely hard to spot.
