Cheetah on the look-out
A cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) using a termite mound as a look-out. It is the fastest land animal reaching speed of up to 120km/h in short bursts. The IUCN currently classifies the lion as a “vulnerable” species on the Red List of Threatened Species.
